Editorial and testing policy

How Culinara uses sources, records AI editorial acceptance, distinguishes researched recipes from tested ones, and credits images.

AI editorial review: 2026-10-20

Sources and independent writing

We consult Persian-language and English culinary sources, identify relevant references, and write explanations in our own words. We distinguish a supplier's product description from a general culinary rule and preserve meaningful regional or household differences.

A citation is not permission to copy a source's writing or photographs. Reading several recipes does not make another author's expressive text free to reproduce. Our added material focuses on product-form decisions, explicit substitution limits, source comparison and practical navigation.

Who accepts an article

During this initial pilot, the owner has authorized Culinara's AI manager to assess, correct and accept articles for publication. Accepted pages are labeled AI editorial review. We do not represent that process as human review.

The acceptance record is tied to a particular content version. Changes require a new editorial decision. The manager can hold back material with unresolved source, method, safety or permission concerns rather than publish it automatically. Software validation and AI review can still miss mistakes.

Cooking tests and adaptations

We only describe a recipe as cooked or tested by Culinara when an actual testing record exists. The recipes in the initial collection are researched and untested. Editorial review is not a cooking test, and photographed food is not evidence that we made it.

Changes to ingredients can affect taste, texture and cooking behavior. We do not invent universal replacement ratios or nutrition values. Follow the instructions and allergen information on the actual products you use, and follow authoritative food-safety guidance rather than relying only on appearance.

Photographs and credits

Published images have recorded sources, creators and stated licenses or permission, with required attribution. Source-declared permission is not an independent ownership guarantee.

A serving-variation photograph is explicitly labeled where it differs from the recipe. It is not described as an exact result or a Culinara kitchen test, and it does not qualify an article for Recipe rich-result markup in our publishing workflow.

Corrections and commercial relationships

The Contact page describes the currently available communication arrangements. The pilot does not yet have a public inbox or submission form, and we do not promise an unsupported response time.

No ads, affiliate tracking or sponsored recommendations are active in this pilot. Any later integration needs its own account, policy, privacy and disclosure checks; AI editorial acceptance alone does not establish advertising eligibility.
